I normally don't post my work on to this blog anymore after the launch of my personal website but I wanted to share an image from one of my favorite editorials I shot last December. It was so much fun working with Naya(model), everything was quite spontaneous and I had an absolute blast shooting that night. I am currently working on launching my editorial page which will feature quite a lot of work. Im super stoked to finally have a platform to share my work with you guys!

When I was coming up with the theme to this shoot I was looking for the one thing that happens to me and I'm sure most of you on a day to day basis, Deception. Weather it be at home at work or just with your own friends. I wanted to make a comment on how you can't really trust anyone. That idea lead me to Fashion and all of its glory. How beautiful it is, how it inspires all of us to take into care our own ways of life. What most people see is how beautiful it is on the outside and some see its ugly side too. Inspired by Mexico's Day of The Dead (my latin add to the shoot from my own culture) and the "Glamor" of the fashion industry I wanted to make a comment on how you can be perfectly beautiful on the outside and a rotting piece of shit on the inside. Here is one of my favorite shots from the series I recently completed.

The Color Black

Color being one of the largest forms of symbolism : Black

Often the hue of death and grief.

An approaching black cat is a traditional ill omen. Viewed as a negative color.

Its roots: In egypt black signified rebirth and fertility.

Today I'm the state of being fertile with my visions.

Glory - Out-takes

My day started at 4AM today, worth it, seeing that we didn't have all the fog planned out. It's the only time the park downtown is totally empty and the grave yard isn't under watch. What luck! The fog ended up making this shoot INCREDIBLE. I am so proud of what we created today. Here are some odd out-takes from digital and the film I shot. "Glory of the dead" as my dear friend would say, Glory caught on camera.
